Education
A real school, not a stand-in.
Every boy in our care is enrolled at Pragathi Vidhya Mandir High School. We cover tuition, uniforms, books, stationery, transport, and after-school tutoring — because half-measures don't break cycles of poverty.

Why private schooling
Education is the lever. We pull it hard.
In urban India, the gap between an under-resourced government school and a well-run private English-medium school is often the difference between a job that pays the rent and a job that doesn't. For children who have already lost so much, we are not willing to compromise on this.
Every boy at the home attends Pragathi Vidhya Mandir High School, a respected private school nearby. Lessons are in English, class sizes are reasonable, and teachers know our boys by name and stay in regular contact with our caregivers.
The Foundation pays for tuition, school uniforms, textbooks, exam fees, transport, and any specialist learning support a child needs.

Beyond the classroom
Sports, cultural activities, life-skills sessions, and vocational training — the parts of growing up that don't appear on a report card.

Beyond school
We don't stop at the school gate.
As our boys move through their teens, we begin career and college guidance: aptitude conversations, mentor introductions, and help with vocational training, undergraduate applications, or apprenticeships. We want them to leave the home with a clear next step — and with the confidence to take it.
We also run life-skills and rehabilitation support for boys who had dropped out of school before they came to us — helping them rebuild lost ground and return to learning with dignity.
And we stay in touch. Boys who have aged out of the home remain part of our extended family. They visit. They mentor the younger ones. Some come back to volunteer.

Vidya Dhaan
Putting books in the right hands.
Through our Vidya Dhaan programme, we distribute free textbooks and study materials to students who would otherwise begin the school year without them. A set of books is a small thing to give — and an enormous thing to go without.
Stand with our boys
A safe home and a real education change everything.
Every contribution covers food, schooling, healthcare, and the everyday care that lets a child simply be a child. Help us keep our doors open.
